While we're getting all hot and bothered about upcoming musical
festivities, let's not forget about the King. Of the Blues, that
is. The Mayor's Office of Special Events has just announced that 82
year-old B.B. King will headline the final night of the 2008
Chicago Blues Festival. The living legend topped the bill back in
'88, so rest assured he knows the drill.
The Chicago Blues Festival will feature 100 performers over six
stage in Grant Park from June 5-8. The best part? B.B. is free,
free, free.
